We’ve heard that phrase countless times before, but do we ever stop to define it? Personally, I think it’s an interesting form of an oxymoron backed up by a large dose of the truth.
What does it mean to be so close, yet so far away? Is it that in reality we were never that close in the first place or does the latter ring true, in that it’s been right in front of our face the entire time, yet we keep missing it?
This psychological warfare that we gauge on our minds can be true for a number of things; jobs, relationships, business deals, family, friends, you name it. Either way I think it’s important to see the glass half full when considering why you were so close, yet so far away.
